Ingredients

  • Ripe bananas
  • Milk chocolate bars
  • Large marshmallows

Instructions

  • Slice your banana lengthwise to create a 'boat' shape, leaving the peel on.
  • Stuff with marshmallows.
  • Fill with chocolate chunks.
  • Use a piece of foil to completely wrap the banana, making sure it’s sealed well.
  • Place your wrapped banana boats on a grill grate or into the hot coals for 10-15 minutes.
  • Carefully open the foil and enjoy your campfire dessert.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, add granola or nuts.
  • For a s’mores twist, add a layer of crushed graham crackers before wrapping.
  • Use parchment paper inside the foil for less sticking.
  • Let them rest for a minute before digging in to avoid burning your tongue on hot banana.
  • Rotate your banana boats halfway through cooking to ensure even melting.
