Skillet Sausage Gravy Recipe

Delicious skillet sausage gravy - totally easy to make and perfect to serve with fried chicken, steak or biscuits.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground Pork
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/3 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 3-4 cups Milk as needed
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • 1. Cook ground pork in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through and until desired level of doneness, about 8-15 minutes.
  • 2. Stir in the butter until melted and absorbed by the pork, about 2 minutes.
  • 3. Sprinkle on flour and stir to coat pork completely.
  • 4. Add 3 cups of milk and simmer for 8 minutes until thickened, adding additional milk as desired to make more "gravy."
    5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • 6. Serve over chicken fried steak, fried chicken or biscuits.
