Ingredients

  • 170 g box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 16 oz Cool Whip
  • 1/2 cup vodka or fluffed marshmallow vodka for extra flavor!
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallow candies
  • 1 Hershey bar broken into pieces
  • Whipped topping

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the instant pudding mix and cold milk. Beat with a hand mixer for 2 minutes until thickened.
  • Add in vodka (or vanilla vodka for a white chocolate pudding variation) and mix for another 2 minutes.
  • Refrigerate for 5 minutes before folding in the Cool Whip to keep the texture light and creamy.
  • Fill the plastic cups with the pudding mixture.
  • Sprinkle the top of the pudding with graham cracker crumbs.
  • Top with a dollop of whipped topping, a few mini marshmallows, and a piece of chocolate.
  • Chill for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Try different flavor combinations. Swap out the vodka for chocolate vodka or Irish cream to add a rich chocolate depth to your pudding shots. You can even mix two liquors for a more complex flavor.
  • These pudding shots store well in the fridge for up to 2 days, so make them ahead for stress-free summer parties. Just wait to add the toppings until right before serving to avoid soggy graham crackers.
  • Want an extra fluffy texture? Fold in a cup of marshmallow fluff along with the Cool Whip to create marshmallow layers that mimic the classic gooey s'mores experience.
  • If you're taking these shots to a summer barbecue or camping trip, use plastic condiment cups with lids. They stack easily in a cooler, making transportation a breeze.
  • If you love dark chocolate, use a dark chocolate pudding mix instead of regular instant chocolate pudding mix for a richer, more indulgent flavor.
