If you thought s'mores couldn't get any better, think again! Our s'mores pudding shots recipe is the ultimate grown-up twist on a classic campfire treat.
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 10 minutes mins
- 170 g box instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 16 oz Cool Whip
- 1/2 cup vodka or fluffed marshmallow vodka for extra flavor!
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup mini marshmallow candies
- 1 Hershey bar broken into pieces
- Whipped topping
In a large bowl, combine the instant pudding mix and cold milk. Beat with a hand mixer for 2 minutes until thickened.
Add in vodka (or vanilla vodka for a white chocolate pudding variation) and mix for another 2 minutes.
Refrigerate for 5 minutes before folding in the Cool Whip to keep the texture light and creamy.
Fill the plastic cups with the pudding mixture.
Sprinkle the top of the pudding with graham cracker crumbs.
Top with a dollop of whipped topping, a few mini marshmallows, and a piece of chocolate.
Chill for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
- Try different flavor combinations. Swap out the vodka for chocolate vodka or Irish cream to add a rich chocolate depth to your pudding shots. You can even mix two liquors for a more complex flavor.
- These pudding shots store well in the fridge for up to 2 days, so make them ahead for stress-free summer parties. Just wait to add the toppings until right before serving to avoid soggy graham crackers.
- Want an extra fluffy texture? Fold in a cup of marshmallow fluff along with the Cool Whip to create marshmallow layers that mimic the classic gooey s'mores experience.
- If you're taking these shots to a summer barbecue or camping trip, use plastic condiment cups with lids. They stack easily in a cooler, making transportation a breeze.
- If you love dark chocolate, use a dark chocolate pudding mix instead of regular instant chocolate pudding mix for a richer, more indulgent flavor.
