This camp stove fish fry is our favorite way to cook fresh-caught fish while camping — crispy, buttery, and hungry kid approved.

Ingredients
  

  • Fresh fish
  • Butter
  • Mango chipotle seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the fish. Clean, fillet, skin, and de-bone the fish.
  • Heat a skillet over the camp stove, drop in about 1 Tbsp butter, and allow to melt.
  • Sprinkle both sides of the fish with seasoning and place in the skillet.
  • Cook on each side for five minutes each until the fish is cooked through.
