Teriyaki Chicken Foil Packs

Enjoy the outdoors with chicken teriyaki foil packs — tender chicken, veggies, and teriyaki sauce wrapped in foil, perfect for hassle-free camping meals!

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips
- 1 head of broccoli about 2 cups of florets
- 2 bell peppers cubed
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cups homemade teriyaki sauce divided
- 2 green onion stalks diced, optional
- 2 tsp sesame seeds optional
Preheat the BBQ grill to 400 degrees F.
Cut up the vegetables and slice the chicken.
Divide the ingredients equally onto four sheets of foil (about 12” long).
Top with half of the teriyaki sauce.
Fold each sheet of foil into a packet.
Place the foil packets directly onto the grill grate.
Cook for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked.
Top with remaining cup of teriyaki sauce.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- When planning for camping, we like to do as much prep as possible at home, while we have access to hot running water. It makes cleanup so much easier.
- Place foil packs on a baking sheet if you are worried about the packet leaking on the grill.
- Use sheets of heavy-duty foil or double wrap your packet if you are worried out breakage.
- Open packets carefully. They release quite a bit of hot steam.
- Give each square of foil a light coating of non-stick cooking spray to help prevent your ingredients from sticking.
- Be sure to cut your chicken breasts into evenly sized pieces for even cooking.
- Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge or cooler.
