The Best Skillet S'mores Recipe

This gooey skillet s’mores recipe is the ultimate campfire dessert — melty chocolate, toasty marshmallows, crunchy graham crackers, and zero sticky fingers!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pkg graham crackers 150 g
  • Jersey milk chocolate bar 100 g
  • Marshmallows 100 g

Instructions
 

  • Line the skillet with parchment paper. This step can be skipped, but it helps to make clean up WAY easier.
  • Break the graham crackers into pieces and layer them on the bottom of the skillet.
  • Cover the crackers with a single layer of marshmallows.
  • Break the chocolate bar into pieces and tuck them into spots between the marshmallows.
  • Cover the skillet with aluminum foil and cook over the fire or grill for 15-20 minutes.

Notes

  • When cooking with cast iron, be sure to season the surface first.
  • Always use gloves or oven mitts while cooking as the surface of the iron will be hot.
  • Cook the recipe over an open fire using hot coals, not open flames. A fire that is too hot will burn the outside of your recipe and not cook the inside.
  • Be sure to clean the cast iron with a rough vegetable scrubber, rinse, and dry thoroughly before storing.
