Like most families, we love a good snack or sweet treat, but generally we eat fairly healthy, even away from home. One of the problems we sometimes face, though, is how to keep these young men feeling full for any length of time. I’m sure they all have at least one hollow leg!
That’s why I like to be sure that the meals we make have a solid source of protein. With its high protein content, skinless chicken breast makes an excellent choice for a satisfying and nutritious meal.

Today, I have some of our favorite chicken breast recipes to share with you. With a short cook time and simple ingredients, they make the perfect 30-minute meal after a long day of hiking or hanging out at the beach.
While you can cook up any of these skillet meals at home on the stove top, they are all ideal additions to your camping menu. We always have at least one large skillet in our camp kitchen (cast iron is our go-to), so it is easy to make these recipes.
Using thin chicken breasts means that the cooking time will be faster too and there will be less chance of undercooking the meat, especially when cooking over the fire.
All of these high protein chicken recipes are great as part of a healthy lifestyle. Serve them with white rice, brown rice, or pasta.
Add simple side dishes like green beans or fresh veggies. If you are looking for a low carb option, use cauliflower rice.
There are so many choices. We hope your family enjoys these chicken skillet meals as much as ours does.
