Beaver Lake Resort Campground Review:

We hit up one of our favorite camping spots last month.
Beaver Lake Mountain Resort is a must see if you are visiting the Okanagan.
It is truly perfect for our family and boasts a gigantic playground, petting zoo, lake with beach access, level campsites, flush toilets and showers.  The only downside is the half paved, half dirt road going up to the resort.  We considered ourselves lucky to make it up to the resort with the van pulling our trailer this year.

The petting zoo is pretty awesome and the boys couldn’t wait to visit the guinea pigs this year.

They had tiny, baby guinea pigs!  {{squeal}} So cute!  And rabbits and chickens and llamas and goat and and… my kids just love animals {and so does this momma}.

Anyway we had a good time with friends but called the trip a bit short because of cranky kiddos.  Cameron wasn’t feeling well one of the days {my poor baby}, add to that sleep deprived parents and we were ready to go sooner rather than later.  I did get a chance to photograph a few more of our favorite camping recipes and will be posting them soon 🙂  We loved our spot this year too ~ campsite #32.  It was spacious, well shaded and right across from the playground!
